For the past several years, people  have been my subject of choice.
I'm still fascinated by faces and their expressiveness, but I found that the world too, and especially the cities, have their specific faces.

Although I was born and live in the (Lower) Austrian Waldviertel, I am drawn to Vienna with great regularity.
whose culture and living space that had grown over the centuries I valued very much.

As a result, a number of pictures in a series called “My Vienna” have been created over the years.
But my motifs are also impressions from various vacation trips, and again images of people, figural and abstract.

Black backgrounds make colors pop.

Almost all pictures are acrylic paintings, a few in oil.
